Changelog

Don't use Avira, but thanks for the update Ishan. Any change log type stuff?

Yeah! Thanks. :)

Premium Security Suite updated to 9.0.0.381

All Antivir Desktop downloads here.

@Ice: They don't make changelogs. I wish I could see a changelog too. :(

If you use it check your Windows Event Viewer for any Access Violations it may have in particular those stating it was unable to scan files which aren't locked in any way. AntiVir 9 itself doesn't report them, hence the reason to use the Event Viewer. That's why I went back to Avast.

:huh:

Changelog = we meant this.

Btw, you can see the files AntiVir was unable to scan in the "Warnings" section of the scanlogs.

I don't see any Avira warnings in the event viewer myself Andavari.

Not to confuse the two we're not referring to the same types of failed to scan warnings, such as for instance it can't scan pagefile.sys as an example.

Instead it's those with Access Violations that cause some sort of "soft" crash which doesn't crash the whole AntiVir app. Those I stated are only logged via Windows built in Event Log which can be looked at in the Event Viewer.

Have you considered mentioning what happens to you on the Avira forums Andavari?

Nope. :P I've always had issues with AntiVir to some degree. I'm actually an old registered user on the forums, but for the life of me I haven't logged in for many years.

Yeah! Thanks. :)

OMG. This is awesome. Thanks.

This is the changelog of the first 9.0.0.x version though.

I use Premium Security Suite, and the latest changelogs Softpedia has are from version 7.x :(

The change log is always packed in with the installer too, I think it's readme.txt.

you can see what version you had at Avira control panel >overview > select report > display last update report file

This is Spectacular AV.

My first choice.

Avira has always been good to me. i did use AVAST! awhile back but Avira seems better.
