AVG Free 7.5 support has been extended through Feb '09!
Good news for you hold-outs!
For people not wanting to delve into v8 that's good, especially for people with older versions of Windows that like a lightweight AV.
Or an older PC like my real old 500MHZ PIII.
It runs Avira AntiVir Personal Free quite well although Luke Filewaker takes about 1/2 hour to run and MBAM almost 10 min. for a Quick scan.
That is becoming a circus with AVG. How far these clowns have fallen. I dumped AVG when they started this BS and installed Avira AntiVir and have no complaints. AVG 8 is a bloated hog and although 7.5 is very good they are playing games with their ever changing termination date.
