Hello All!
This is suggestion of many users of CCleaner. We are need in automatic clean of the registry in autostart mode.
If this possible to add checkbox for this option and value for number of passes. In most choices 1 pass - enough, but in some case need 3 passes.
Thanks you.
This will never be added, the registry should never be cleaned without proper moderation.

Why would you need to scan some parts 3 times anyway?

Sometimes after only three passes with the fixation found after each pass in the fourth passage problems are not detected.
P.S. Perhaps, if the user agrees to risk, the inclusion of options could be done?

Three times lucky is a playground legend.
Is there any scientific basis for saying that the third pass will remove all residual registry errors ?

This is not scientific approach, it's just is observations on the passages.
Thanks to the developers for a useful and good product!
Hi V-Twin, and welcome to the forum.
You're not alone with that suggestion, it's been argued for many times before. You do sometimes pick up more stuff when you rescan, but I don't bother any more.
The entries which pop up on repeated scans will probably pop up sometime down the road. I've had entries appear for software I uninstalled months and months ago, and I wonder where it's been hiding.
