Autoclean Registry Option?

First, I wanted to let you know that our web host Voda advised CCleaner for its customers. It's a great way to perform many of the cleanup routines I had built into a shutdown routine for my computer here at work.

This is a fantastic program that saves me SO much time when it comes to PC cleanup.

I figured out by going through the registry how to add CCleaner to my shutdown batch file and saw the same referenced on this forum: I just added this to my file:

"C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner.exe" /AUTO (NOT lower case /auto)

I know you may say it's not safe, but every time I've used the registry cleaning option, everything has been absolutely fine afterwards. It sometimes takes three passes because of dependencies but works great!

Is there a switch like the /AUTO above that will force cleaning of the registry as well? If so, I can't tell you how easy that would make my life since I find myself installing and uninstalling software all the time which ALWAYS leaves stuff behind in the registry. To be effective it would have to keep making passes through the registry until no issues are left to be resolved.

There is no auto cleaning functionality of the registry cleaning portion.

Excuse me but I have never used a forum like this before. I'm sorry to have outraged you. Please feel free to get over it and go to your room.

I will no longer be using this forum. I don't need to be treated like s**t.

Chill out!

Obviously you've never used a forum before, because that red bolded text was not meant for you and has nothing to do with my reply to your suggestion - it's my signature to let people know I'm not their personal assistant.
