How can I set up an auto clean whenever I close Internet Explorer. This is a feature that should be an option on CCleaner and in my opinion is a problem as Vista Task Scheduler does not always work. How about it Piriform, make it a standard option like Window Washer does?
You can create a CCleaner ("Auto") shortcut on the desktop learn how to do that here. But you'd have to manually run it.
If you really want IE's junk automatically removed without any user interaction on exit you can configure IE to do that, and also with the freeware add-on IE7Pro it can remove the junk too.
I use "ie Privacy Keeper" from www.BrowserTools.net to do this as it has setting to do exactly what you are saking for. It's the only major cleaning I do outside of CCleaner (it also will run when ff is closed and you can add anyprogram you want in addition, I added outlook)

You could make a tiny app that works hidden in the background and monitors the close event and then sends the /AUTO command. It's very simple.
How simple really? For most end-users asking for help in the first place the task may not be that simple.
Forgive me, It's early morning just woken up. Was not the most sensible post.
