I'm new to CCleaner and have run the Analyze part of the program. In the Applications tab it lists several programs that I have installed on the computer with check marks in the boxes. If I click on the "Run Cleaner" button does this mean that it will delete these programs? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I can't seem to find the answer. Thank you for any assistance.
Hi!
No, it doesn't remove the programs; it deletes the program's traces/left-overs/unnecessary files like temporary files and/or cache, which are usually (/almost always) safe to delete.
After "Analyze" you can see the detailed view (double click entry/program in the right column) and check what's being removed if you click "Run Cleaner".
Thank you very much. I didn't think it would actually remove the programs but I just wasn't sure.

It is much better for both you and us when you express doubt and are given assurance.
Everyone suffers when everything is happily zapped and it never boots again.
You did good.
