I use aol dial up ( i know its sad) and i was wondering if if CCleaner would change aol in any way i.e. make it run wrong or delete any necessary files?? thanks

If you mean for the browser then no more so than any other browser (it is just a front end for IE), just make sure to set any cookies to keep in CCleaner for any sites you log in to. Have a read of the beginners guide for more info:

And while were at it give Firefox a try if you're using the AOL browser still you will have faster, safer browsing ;) :
