My wife plays games regularly on Pogo and for two years she has never had a problem. Since the latest Microsoft Update she is not able to load her games via Firefox 3.6.8 - yet she is still able to via IE 8. Apparently Java is not responding correctly in Firefox but still works fine with IE. This makes no sense to me.
When using Firefox, has anyone else had a problem with Java since the latest Microsoft Update?
I've been a member of pogo for almost 8 years (Member Since: Dec 05, 2002) and to this day have no problems running Pogo. I've only been a Club Pogo member for about 5 though.
Try uninstalling Sun Java Runtime Environment, reboot, then reinstall it.
Also if Firefox isn't working with plugins/addons after a Firefox update do the following:
Click: Tools->Add-ons->Find Updates
This will often re-enable broken add-ons.

Before posting I've already tried both of what you suggested and it didn't help
