Any FREE good News Ticker(s)?

Suggestions please...

(News ticker(s) - so one can choose there latest News, weather, sports, etc .. Like WorldFlash, etc.. (Customizable basically) but FREE) :)

The August 2006 issue of PCWorld has an article on this topic and recommends a number of good ones. The article is called Web News Wranglers

Maybe what you are looking for are the RSS feeders such as Awasue Personal Edition, Rojo and SharpReader. All of these are free and mentioned. You can probably find the complete article by going to the PCWorld website. The article was written by Ryan Singel.

A couple mentioned in the article that I like are Digg and Reddit.

If you are looking for a rather objective online newspaper, I would recommend Asia Times Online.

But i am looking for something more like a ticker .. scrolling news ticker.. (something like a Worldflash ( which is NOT free :( )
