Antivirus Program Not Detected on Win7 x64

Similar issue to a couple other posts I read, but a little different. <_<

Installed Speccy on 3 of my PCs. They all have BitDefender installed as the a/v program.

Speccy correctly identifies BitDefender on these 2 systems: :)

I have the same problem. Just tried Speccy v1.08.218 and it lists my AntiVirus as being disabled. I use the latest version of Microsoft Security Essentials, version 2.0.657.0 The OS is Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit. MSE is enabled and has the latest available signature files.

At least Speccy displays Windows Defender correctly as disabled. MSE disable and takes over Windows Defender's functionality when you install it on your machine.

As I was so graceful to find this alternative to AIDA64. I thought I'll give you some feedback.

So I second this thread, Speccy does not detect Microsoft Security Essentials, running Win7 Pro x64 SP1 :)
