Antiexploit from Malwarebytes

Thought some of you may want to check this program out.

Just pointing out that it is still beta software.

Apparently there is a possibility it may end up as a 'turnonable' option in Malwarebytes proper.

making it part of MBAM would make sense. (and if they were MS, that's exactly what they wouldn't do :P )

Thanks, razz. Got it. :)

Really just hope that MBAM don't go down the same path as Spybot-S&D, bloated and sluggish with all this additional add-ons.

When the original JavaRa developers tried to sell to Malwarebytes back in June 2011, they got this response:

We are currently working on a generic outdated product detection utility which will detect whether products such as Java, Adobe, etc. are outdated.

I wonder if this new product is the evolution of that idea. It would seem it was the driving force behind their recent acquisition of ZeroVulnerabilityLabs. Marcin Kleczynski is one of the few leaders in the security industry with any sort of long-term strategy. Kudos to him.

I usually don't open up old topics but can someone point me to where I can download MBAM v.1.75, w/o spam and malware? Andavari, I'm looking at you.

Here you go Corona

You get to choose which version of MBAM you want from the versions panel on the right-hand side.

where I can download MBAM v.1.75

You'll need to do what Hazelnut mentioned not long ago in another topic of stopping it from automatically updating to the new v2 if you wish to stay with v1.75 until you decide for yourself when to "upgrade"

Here's what my Updater Settings look like to stay with v1.75:

Thanks guys. I reformatted my PC today. A 10-hour headache. But I got the bulk of it back up and running again. The never-ending Windows updates were the worst. Back to MBAM 1.75. I like that one. ^_^
