Just found your program through CNET Download and had a lot to clean up on this multiple user computer.
I leave my user name and passord in effect and remembered for online newspapers (NY Times, Wash Post, local). After the scan and repair/delete, they were all wiped clean . Is there a box to "uncheck" for the next time I run the program that will preserve these or is it a matter of finding each one?
Thank you

In options, under Cookies, there's a place to tell CC to save desirable cookies.

There are so many different little items that can be checked and I have no idea as to what they all are?
The answer given above does not work for me as I have moved all my cookies to keep over and when I run the total cleaner it deletes all my usernames AND passwords..
I sure wish someone (or where) there was a deffinition table that tell me what the different items that you check mean? I am obviously not very swift when computers are involved..... ![]()
.........How do I save them...........??

Go to Options, click the cookies button. Select the cookie in the "Cookies to delete" box for the site you want to keep the info for then click the arrow between the boxes to move it across to the "Cookies to keep" side. Do this for each sites cookies you want to have your login info saved for.
If you have already deleted the cookies you will need to revisit the sites for the sites cookies to show up in CCleaner.
