Annual license renewal

I paid for my annual renewal to CCleaner last month. I got an email receipt with a reference number. My old CCleaner has reverted to the free version. I tried downloaling and using my old license key but it has expired. I used the retrieve my license and not new key for this year appears. Any help out there?

The keys do not change yearly - the subscription renews for the same key.
However there may be something else going on here if you have been a paying customer for a while.
For several years now ‘Old style’ licence keys have been/are being gradulally replaced by ‘New style’ keys.

Without giving us the actual keys can you tell us what your old key looked like and what the reference emailed to you looks like.
ie was the old one 24-characters like:
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
and possibly the new on 20-characters like:
XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX

If so then you should now re-register your CCleaner with the new (shorter) key.

Using the new style 20 character key.

Fair enough,
You say that you have already put your email in here to get your currently registered licence, when you purchased it, and when it expires:

If it’s the key that you already have and it says ‘Expired’ or ‘Invalid’ then you will need to contact support to ask what has happened to your renewal.

You can raise a support ticket by using the form here: CCleaner Support Community
You can also contact CCleaner support by emailing: support@ccleaner.com

Be aware that support can be very slow.
If you use the form you will get a ticket number onscreen (make a note of it) and an automatic email reply, - but it may be a week or more before a support person emails you.

In short … no, it does no help! Same here … paid in February, expired in March.

Using “send my license information” gets an “is expired”. Sending an email for help to the given support email adress (screenshots, invoice, …), it returns “Unfortunately, we have to inform you that we could not find any active licenses associated with the email address you provided.” Of course not! “We can’t help, please go to the forum” - for gods sake, what kind of service is THAT?!!

In short: You took my money in the fifth sub year (I got invoice, successfully transfer, Paypal bookings etc.), but my license is expired.

Your turn …

Ah, and using Sub-Management, it tells me, it can’t reach Cleverbridge with right email and given reference number. Sounds like API failure, right?!

CCleaner support resolved the issue. It only took 25 emails, three days and the request to refund. Thank you

Thanks for letting us know @Clyde1951

Update … today, I asked for help at Cleverbridge. The answer took less time than “elsewhere” - good one! The money is - of course - transferred as all the years before. So, no problem on Cleverbridge’s side and I shall use the help center here (ticket was closed; not their fault).

I really have to fill out another form and wait for a brave, but pitty soul to answer this.
