Several times a day I get notifications that popup on my desktop to 'update' which if I click on them takes me to a web page which reveals the 'update' is really an attempt to sell an upgrade. There are other notifications that popup, but this is the primary one, all are annoying.
I've tried to find out where I can disable these notifications but have not been able to. My patience has run out and if I can't find a way to stop these, I don't want to but I will deinstall.
I believe on the bottom of the sales page that there's a download for non pro. What version of ccleaner are you running. You can find the downloads at https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds
While it would be lovely if you could buy CCleaner, we understand that not everyone is in a position to do so - which is why there is always a free version for home users. When you see a notification that a new version has been released (at the time of writing, the latest is 5.58) then you can update for free by clicking on the pop-up, "no thanks"ing your way through the screens on the website asking if you would like to buy instead please, and you will end up at the free download on this page https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download/standard
