always rounds installed RAM to full GB?

i have used speccy on an

1.) system with intel pentium 4 3 GHz; 768 MB RAM (512 MB + 256 MB ) with XP Pro SP3 and 8600 GTS 512 MB and on another

2.) system with celeron 2,66 GHz; 1,25 GB RAM (1 GB + 256 MB ) with XP Home SP3 and onboard VGA with 64 MB shared

speccy shows for 1.) 1 GB RAM in summary 2.) 1 GB RAM in summary

should that be so?

the same as Athlon 64 3200+ with 1,5 GB RAM + onboard VGA 64 MB shared

speccy shows in summary 2 GB RAM
