After attempted update of Mp3 player, Windows 11 will not recognize the device

After Ccleaner attempted an update on my Innioasis G3 Mp3 player, Windows 11 will not recognize the device when it is connected to any of my USB ports. Is it possible that the MTP INF file has been corrupted?

Hi @Jupiter1,
Please could you let me know which feature you used in CCleaner before you experienced this issue?

I used the driver update feature. I happened to have my Innioasis G3 mp3 player plugged into a USB port when I ran a system scan. Ccleaner indicated that the G3 needed a driver update, so I tried running one. It, however, could not complete the update and popped up an error code. Unfortunately, I didn’t write down the code, so I’m not certain that I remember it correctly. It seems to me, though, that it was 72.

Plug it in then check in Device Manager that still has a driver installed.
CCleaner may have removed the old one but not been able to install the new one.

PS. If a device is working OK then there is no need to change or update the driver. ie. Why try to 'fix" something that isn’t broken?
