sweet, lots of cool stuff coming to a flash enabled devices near you...& me too.

flash enabled devices near you
and in a Flash your battery life hits rock bottom.

I hate Flash it's CPU intensive crap unsuitable for running on portable devices unless you have an ARMv7 processor.

Also why do 3rd party tools do a much better job at handling flash content i.e. XBMC or Google's YouTube video player??

die flash die.

Firefox 8 (Nightly) does not detect the 64bit version of Flash 11 :(

Rather it is above the max version allowed in blocklist.xml, I've come to speculate.

die flash die.

Come on say what you really think of it. Seems like so many sites just like to Flash you these days.

 It causes me more grief than it’s worth, I think, sometimes :P

Rather it is above the max version allowed in blocklist.xml, I've come to speculate.

What happens if you manually edit max version in blocklist so that it is no loinger above?

Haven't tried, but I will and will report back on that one.

looking through this file, I've come to believe that it's more for extensions than plugins, but I can't be sure

Doing a complete uninstall of Flash 11 and a reinstall with the 64bit installers seems to have worked. Not sure if this is related to the fact I deleted the blocklist.xml contents, likely not.

Flash is already unstable enough... these should be called alphas

waiting for the new alpha version since i dont like unnessesary messing around with my system, seems to provide a lot if nice upgrades, at least it promises to. But knowing flashplayer they always develop, give them some time.

They usually develop more problems

Adobe has enough issues with the "stable" release versions, I wouldn't touch it in the alpha or beta stage.

Uninstallers:

I'd personally like to see them remove the jerkiness in Flash videos like some on YouTube, etc., caused by all their recent updates.

Flash is already unstable enough... these should be called alphas huh.gif
