The instructions are still pretty dire ... since when have you been able to remove a service by 'deleting' from the Services console?!

I know they "suggest" it for whatever reason as if downloading the small Flash setup file is so difficult or time consuming. I've did several Flash updates from Adobe's site and opting out of installing it hasn't failed.

Not being sarcastic at all really it was just a question since I found it odd for someone to have to go through all that. Just wondered why they didn't say remove it as any other normal program in Add/Remove Programs, and if the user so chooses to download a new version without the vulnerability.
Actually rather than having to follow those instructions they should have a downloadable remover like they do for Flash Player, that would be much simpler.
