Actually contacting CCleaner

Does anybody in the community know how to actually contact CCleaner? I purchased a renewal license 8-Oct as as of 26-Nov I have not received a license key. Every day I go to what they call “Premium Support” and the only option is a chat - but the chat is never opened. I leave it open all day, occasionally restarting during the day - but they never respond. They say this is a “24-hour” chat, which apparently means it’s closed 24 hours a day?

Does anyone have a email address or phone number?

I’ve never tried it, but - Have you actually paid for Premium Support?

If not, (or even if you have and it isn’t working), then you will need to raise a ticket with support.

If you use the form at this link: CCleaner Support Community you will be given a ticket number - make a note of it.
You will then get an automated email reply with some general information (which will probably not interest you).
Your support ticket is now in the queue to get to a person.

You should be aware that support are taking a very long time to reply at the moment, particularly if your CCleaner isn’t showing as registered with them yet so it’s not showing that you have actually paid for support.

I’m afraid that you will just have to be patient and wait for support to reply - But I can give you a tip:

Once you have sent a request then don’t send further emails/requests until you get a reply from a support agent.
If you do then that will just slow things down even more.
While your request is in the queue waiting to get to a support person the queueing system will see any/all new communication from you as further information for your existing request, so adds it to the ones you have already sent and puts it all at the back of the queue again as one new request.

The customer service is diabolical. My license was renewed yesterday without me authorising it and I can’t even contact anyone about it. You sit in the chat support for ages and you can’t talk to anyone. I’d like to be refunded but don’t know how I can contact them.

Emailing support@ccleaner.com doesn’t do anything because the inbox is not monitored. You just receive an automated email to visit the Support website.

This thread is 12 months old - that’s a long time in computing and things change.

All customers MUST now access a ‘Live Chat’ support service.
To start raise a support ticket by using this: Contact Form.
Once you submit the form you will be given a support ticket/ID number onscreen, with a summary of your request.
Below that is the button to go straight into the ‘Live Chat’ where a virtual assistant will try to help you.
If the AI can’t help then you will be passed to a real person.

Note - We have been told that you HAVE TO engage with the chat or you may not get a reply to your request form. (Seems strange to me, but that is what we have been told).
