Active Monitoring unchecked but still runs.

Every time I open CCleaner, Active Monitoring is checked again. I don't want it to run.

How can I overcome this annoying problem?

What operating system are you using?

What build of CCleaner? (eg.. 5.31.6105)

Do you use the free or paid version?

Do you answer the prompt when you untick both monitoring tickboxes?

The operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium.

CCleaner build is v5.31.6105.

I am using the free version.

Yes. After unticking both boxes I answer yes.

Are you running it as an admin with uac (or ccleaner's skipuac). It sounds like you preferences are unwritable by your user. Do the marks stay unchecked after, or are they rechecking?

Is your preference set to save settings in an ini file or is it registry preferences,?
