Hello,
My activation key isn’t working. Is it possible to test it? Or find out why?
Thank you.
Double check that you are typing the key in correctly and that you do not have any spaces before or after it.
Check for instance that you are not mistaking an S for a 5, a B for an 8, and so on.
(Note that the keys never contain the number “1” that would be a capital letter “I”).
Normally we would say copy and paste the key.
However I have noticed that you can’t do that with CCleaner 7. (I’ve flagged that up with the staff to be changed).
Thanks. I copied and pasted the code, so there’s no chance of making a mistake.
On version 6 of CCleaner, I got an error code of “ALPHA,” and on version 7, it tells me it’s “key intended for another product.”
v7 will not let me past a code into the licence activation.
v6 will.
However as you are getting an error message in both apps then something else is obviously wrong.
Presumably this is a key that was purchased from CCleaner?
(We had a post last week where someone had purchased a key for just £0.74 from a website- that’s a rediculously low price and of course it was a fake key).
Assuming that you have purchased a genuine key direct from CCleaner then you should contact support about the problem you are having.
All customers can now access a ‘Live Chat’ support service.
To start raise a support ticket by using this: Contact Form.
Once you submit the form you will be given a support ticket/ID number onscreen, with a summary of your request.
Below that is the button to go straight into the ‘Live Chat’ where a virtual assistant will try to help you.
If the AI can’t help then you will be passed to a real person.
