While performing

"Action > Advanced > Defrag Freespace"

on a Micron M550 solid state drive, the defreaggler hangs reading and writing the same sector continuously.

Operating system is Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit. Defraggler version is the no-charge version v2.19.982 (64-bit).

Do not defragment SSD they don't fragment like that and have a limited number of write cycles. In short SSD+defragmenting=shorter life for SSD
