you do realize that 7.0.3 released 1-2 months ago right?
Why does it matter that it was released a few months ago? The security hole is still there. My suggestion for everyone is to switch to foxit pdf reader.
does it come with IE/Firefox integration by any chance?
Yes, you just have to make it the default pdf reader.
alright
/me kicks Adobe Reader out of the comp and gets Foxit PDF Reader
You wont regret switching. Foxit loads so much faster than adobe.
yeah it does but comes with no integration
when i click a link, it doesnt load in the browser, it asks me to download or Run
I don't use it and don't really care what version they release. I just posted it for people who use Acrobat or Acrobat Reader to give them a heads up. And yes switching to Foxit Reader is a wise choice since it isn't bloated and loads fast.

Manually setup the PDF document mime type for your browser.
The screenshot is the setup taken from Mozilla Suite:
i use firefox and i dont see .pdf on the plugins list so i cant do anything about that
and how would i do this for IE?
edit:well looks like i cant do nothing about it. Adobe's integration comes from an ActiveX control which doesnt come with Foxit so oh well

It works the same way in firefox as it does in mozilla.
lol i meant integration in the browser itself, not in another window to open Foxit PDF Reader. but that works too
Ah that's what you meant.
You'll just have to live with it opening Foxit Reader which isn't too bad considering you were able to get rid of its bloated competition with no real disadvantages to speak of.
i think that adobe acrobat reader dont work very well with firefox... maybe at least for me?
you must mean it's slow as hell right?
yup...
Adobe is always slow. It dosent matter what browser your using.
oh well... but i think v5 is much better...
