hello all. i know how to manually eliminate the names under icons on the desktop, but curious as to if anyone knows of a program that will eliminate all the names automatically? that would be a cool piece of (preferably freeware) software.

I've never seen anything like that.
Windows blinds might be able to do it, but it does a whole lot more than just get rid of the names. (and its shareware I think)

Not the program you're looking for, but there's a lot of "desktop tips" on this site, and halfway down the 2nd section there's a bit on removing the names from multiple icons. "Having Icons With No Name". Not quite automatic though.
