And feedback or solution would be appreciated.

Can you give some more details please.

What operating system do you use?

What anti-virus do you use?

How are you downloading and installing? Are you downloading it through ccleaner itself, or are you downloading it from here...

https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds

Is it the free version or the pro version?

Thanks.

I had cleared the temp folder and tried again with no luck.

the pfUI.DLL files seem to be related to SQL server/app?

Thanks,

I'll just wait until they fix it and release an update...

To me its clear that this is an issue between CClean, and a spicific version of MS SQL file

Instead of waiting while they fix it, you can download the portable version ( https://piriform.com/ccleaner/builds ) and over write the old version with the contents of the zip.

and you could try this;

uninstall your current version first.

then go into the Program Files folder for CC and delete its contents (keep the .ini file if you have customised settings).

download the latest build from here; <a href="https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds" rel="external nofollow">https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds</a>

reboot the PC

install CC from your downloaded file.

if no luck, try the install with the PC in Safe Mode.

and as <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="<___base_url___>/profile/21882-nergal/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="21882" href="<___base_url___>/profile/21882-nergal/" rel="">@Nergal</a> suggests, try the Slim or Portable builds to see if they work.

Thanks but I dont have time to deal with figuring out the issue with the CCleaner, I will wait until they fix it, and leave the old one running.

up to you.

next release should be in the next couple of months if the usual schedule is followed..
