190 MB of files deleted accidentally but no log to see what I deleted

Hi, these are the 3 screenshots of the categories I had selected to analyse. However, after analysing I thought I’d delete them one by one, so I clicked on the first row and then clicked on Run Cleaner. I thought it would only delete the first row, but it deleted all of the files at once. Afterwards, I didnt realise what had happened, so I clicked on Analyse again, and so I can’t even see what was deleted. I am particularly worried about having lost personal files, multimedia files, and backups. A few categories especially come to mind, namely BitTorrent, VLC Media Player, Samsung Kies, Adobe, MS One Drive, Office 2007, Windows Web, and MS Paint

Can you please tell me whether there’s any chance that any personal files, multimedia files, backup files, or preference/settings files could have been deleted by running the cleaner as per screenshots? If so, for which app/category?

Did you left click on an item, or did you right-click on it and select to clean that item only?

Left click unfortunately , and then I had the message that 190MB of files had been cleaned

If you could pls let me know for which of these categories (BitTorrent, VLC Media Player, Samsung Kies, Adobe, MS One Drive, Office 2007, Windows Web, and MS Paint) it is possible that some personal or multimedia or backup files were deleted (and what type)

CCleaner clears things that are usually regarded as junk.
Temporary files, logfiles, etc.

For the apps that you list then that is all that it will clean, the temporary junk not any personal files.
You might find that something like a ‘Recently Used’ list has been cleared, but that’s just that list and the files are still there and will re-populate the list as you open/read/use them again.

CCleaner will not delete any personal files unless either:

  1. You had specifically set up an ‘Include’ to clear a folder where the personal files are.
  2. You had stored your personal filles in a strange location that windows uses for temporary files. (Yes we have seen users who said that they stored their important files in the Downloads folder; and even one who said he kept important files in his Recycle Bin).
