112 Celcius Bug Motherboard

Hello SpeccyTeam,

I have built different Micro-ATX and normal sized ATX.

Yesterday i have built my 8th computer with an M-Itx motherboard.

Its a MSI B250i Pro Gaming AC

The temp is 29-34 showed on Bios and other programs as HWMonitor etc.

But i like the Speccy interface, is there a chance that we get to see and update on that? :)

Official word from the Admin Team is "This is something we are aware of and are working towards a solution but there is not a timeline for it."

When was that ??

the Official word? came down about two weeks or so ago when I asked for an update after the Wrong Temperature thread got another post..

the problem? about two years now I reckon. (read into that what you will)<_<

Is it only the M-Itx Motherboard that have this problem?

don't think there is any common factor.

from that thread there are different mobo and graphics card manufactures, makes, models, socket types, ages - you name it.

which, let's be honest here, despite how few programmers may be available and it's perceived level of importance, is probably why it is hard to replicate in the labs.

True, True... So the only thing to do is to use other programs that works like HwMonitor etc in meanwhile, even though i like the Speccy Interface :(

I hate to say it, but... well... Yes.

all I can add is the wrong temp only seems to effect a small percentage, and only the temp for mobos and graphics cards (maybe CPU's - can't remember)

other facts reported by Speccy seem believable (with the one exception that comes to mind, the number of RAM slots can be mis-reported).

The only reliable temp report is the CPU, GPU, Harddisk

CPU: 26-27 Idle (36 Load)

GPU: So far up to 40 and down since i have a cool roon etc haha.

Harddisk: 19 its ssd

and Mobo: 112 haha, but that only from Speccy. Bios and Hwmonitor and two other programs shows the same 30-35 celcius
