1. Registry Cleaner? 2. Mathematica Compatibility

  1. Just updated to version 7. What happened to the registry cleaner? Where can I find it? 2. Yesterday I ran the CCleaner option of ‘deleting duplicate files’. When I tried to open a Mathematica Note Book I got an error message: “Serious start up error”. Lucky for me, all I had to do was re-install Mathematica 14.3. (I’m just bringing this issue to everybody’s attention)

Registry is now part of custom clean, but it removes all items found under the subheading, no way to pick and choose. Duplicate finder should never be used cavalierly (I’m pretty sure it allows picking and choosing, though i’ve not tried it). Only remove documents and pictures and only those you know are duplicated. System & application files are duplicated on purpose and should not be removed.

Am I completely safe if I dump duplicate files into the recycle bin?
