  1. I contacted the support team who responded (someone called Jeth from the Phiipines) suggesting I downloaded the software once again but of course that didn't help. He said that Piriform were aware of the issues but he was not sure when they would get round to fixing them. Surely it isn't that difficult to fix software like this? .
  2. I am using MacOS Catalina version 10.15.7. When I updated to this version I remember my Word and Excel programmes had to be updated for 32 something...from 16. CCleaner may have stopped working around the same time. Does downloading the latest version of CCleaner automatically replace any old CCleaner software, or could there be old software lurking somewhere in the background on my PC?
  3. I have used CCleaner (the free version) on my 2013 i-Mac successfully for years. About a year ago it suddenly stopped working. This might have been around the time time my computer became very slow and I put in anoth 16 GB of RAM memory. The problem was CCleaner wouldn't open, and if it did, it just spent forever (literally hours) and found nothing. I tried removing the CCleaner software and replaced with a new download but to no avail. I now have Version 1.18.30, which is an App of 4.6 MB and installed (or published maybe) on 30 Sep. 2020 (I only installed it knowingly yesterday). Could this version be too new for my now 8 year old computer? How can I best rectify matters? Double clicking on the icon in the tool bar does nothing, right clicking gives the option "force stop", the right clicking again gives the option "open", but the CCleaner window doesn't open. Nor does it open when right clicking on the App itself. Many thanks for your help!
