  1. Idk if this is something that's normal for Ccleaner, but was curious if anyone else had this problem. When selecting run ccleaner from the context menu of the recycle bin, the Ccleaner icon in the taskbar lingers after the cleaning is done. It stays for about 5-10 seconds longer, not blinking like it would if it was clearning.
  2. In Ccleaner, when using the installer version, there is an "upgrade" tab at the bottom of Ccleaner. Is there anyway to add something or change something on regedit to disable that tab? I always click that meaning to click the options tab & it drives me crazy. Only option I've found is to download & install the portable version, which I don't prefer because I have to manually remove the registry items if I ever try to delete it.
  3. This is such an odd issue, but I've been able to confirm that the latest Ccleaner version for Windows does this. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit. I installed the latest Ccleaner version, uncheck monitoring, etc.. to set it up how I like & run it through the "run ccleaner" recycle bin option. After I do that, I'll open Chrome, do a search, and then when I click on the "Tools" button on the google search page to select a time, nothing happens. This is the same for anything on a search results page that is not a link. When I uninstall Ccleaner, it works again. I've tried it 3 times now & keep getting the same result. Anybody have any idea what this could be or how this could be possible?
  4. Turns out they did move cookies. I just updated ccleaner to 5.88.9346 portable & it does get rid of temp internet files for chrome now, but still not cookies. So, would I be able to create my own rule with winapp2.ini to delete the cookies? If so, could someone tell me the code? C:\Users\**my username**\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Profile 1\Network\cookies There's also a cookies=-journal file in there, but not sure if that matters with this.
  5. I think it's in here: C:\Users\*MY USERNAME*\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data
  6. I'm using windows 7 OS 64 bit. All I know is that I didn't change anything other than updating to Chrome 96 & then immediately it stopped working. It will show the temp internet files size and amount, but it will not delete them. I did try 5.88 & that worked, but definitely not what I want. I strongly prefer the minimalist design of older cCleaner. I thought it would work with winappi2 script. I don't have Chrome Canary, no clue what that is. Googled it and it said it was mostly for developers.
  7. Recommend your favorite older version of Ccleaner that I can use winapp2.ini with.
  8. Using cCleaner version 5.40.6411 & Winapp2.ini This setup has worked for a couple years now but just got broken. With Chrome 96, I've been unable to delete cookies/temp files, etc... Seems Chrome must've moved where it stored those. Any chance you could take a look?
