Turning off Options > Privacy > Offers > "See possible upgrades and offers" has not worked for me and I've been hit with several pop-up offers over the Black Friday period. I'm in the same boat as GazNicki and have cancelled the auto extension on premium and uninstalled for this reason. Please accept as feedback for future improvements.
