i thought the thing was gonna break and she wud go flying to her death.wudnt do it myself just cause it doesnt seem safe enough.i remember a few years ago hearing stories about a similar thing where people were catapulted onto some big safe net thing,but one poor lad was catapulted too far and fell to his death.

i quite liked avg also,but im happier using spybot,ad-aware,and spywareblaster

decided to keep using it myself when jurgenv linked me to it in my spyware thread,tis handy

maybe u have some setting to "work offline" - used to happen to me in IE - which makes it start with server not found msg.tried reinstalling?change to firefox3 aka gran paradiso? i remember i had some major problem with peerguardian that wudnt get fixed if i tried "recover peerguardian" or if i tried reinstalling etc.had to delete the peerguardian folder then install again

i use winaso reg optimiser myself,unfortunately not freeware really dont know any free,decent reg cleaners.stay away from eusing registry cleaner,ive seen it get good reviews on some reputable sites but it gives false positives edit : hehe theres eusing reg cleaner in ur link majomo,aint tried any of the others

cudnt find that option in VLC.i decided to do a registry restore which worked.i wud have been really sad if i cudnt play all those video files!must been something to do with installing alcohol 120%

hey today i noticed that my VLC and windows media player wont seem to play video files.if i had to guess why,its probably because i recently installed Alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools.ive tried reinstalling VLC and still wont work.when i double click a video file,the thing pops up like its gonna play,but then it goes down again and im just left with the play,pause,stop,volume buttons. when i try play videos on WMP,loads of weird green stuff pops up,cant see the screen,and it wont play,although im getting audio in WMP and VLC does anybody know why this happened?has it happened to u?any idea how to fix it

my mate had 59 viruses and around 700 pieces of spyware(ewido scanned that much,probably a lot of tracking cookies) when i scanned his pc.strangely enough seemed to run quite well

what exactly do u mean?to stop firefox from running as a start up program?to stop firefox running as ur default browser?

i tried it a year ago probably.its not great to be honest,so many far better AV's out there.its pretty much identical to what spyware doctor looks like.the reviews i read for it havent been that great also,and id be surprised if u found 1 person on this site that uses it.
