Ccleaner Browser new tab page is not customizable

This is annoying me too. I want a new tab to access my Google account (as it does with Chrome) -
I keep getting the Error STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION - usually when trying to open a Compose window in Gmail but it's happening on other sites as well. This might be solved by updating Chrome, but the CCleaner Browser version seems to be updated on my Windows desktop: CCleaner Browser is up to date Version 86.1.6938.201 (Official Build) (64-bit) Any help please?
