Recuva helped me find my old deleted files, so I went ahead and recovered them on my external backup. My one mistake was using an existing folder which had a lot of files on it. Now the folder has been overwritten by the files I restored. Is there any way to get back my original files? "Restore to previous version" is empty. I didn't have "backup and restore" on so I can't restore the system. It seems like anything that's been "overwritten" can't be recovered by recuva either. Please help...
