  1. I see that I'm not the first one to have the experience of losing sound for being curious enough to test the new CCleaner browser. ALL THE REASONS IN THIS THREAD IS A WASTE OF TIME AND YOU NEED TO REALIZE THAT YOUR CCLEANER BROWSER INSTALLER IS THE FAULT TRASHING PEOPLES COMPUTERS! No I did not have any virus! No there was no issues with drivers! I removed CCleaner Browser with Revo Uninstaller and rebooted the computer - no sound. Removed the installed sound drivers and let Windows 7 reinstall the drivers - no sound. Tried to update the CODECS with Driver Easy Pro - no sound! Did a full system restore to a restore point from the day before and YES the sound came back! Started up again and found out that my Brave browser was trashed and I had to reinstall it. Mozilla firefox browser was trashed and would not start up and had also to be repaired with reinstall. So all in all I wasted 1 hour of my production time for being curious of testing something new which trashed my sound and my existing browsers. Yes I run Windows 7 and for many reasons I do not accept and like Windows 10 which we don't have to bring up here. But you home boyz at CCleaner have some work to do before you roll out something that is trashing our sound drivers and installed browsers. And you expect us to pay for your never ending useless updates?? Barf!!
