Uninstalled Chrome and then re-installed it and that seems to have fixed it.

I\ve checked, there are no chrome processes running after I close it.

I've noticed that when I close Chrome browser I no longer get a notification. I then run cleaner manually and it finds cache etc to clean. It works as normal with Opera.
