For your information only: my post reported a way to solve the problem "Ccleaner has quit unexpectedly" (as shown in the title of the forum), not for the difficulty of installing the program. The message "Ccleaner has quit unexpectedly" was suddenly shown after several years of using it without problems. This message disappeared after including "ccleaner.exe" in the BitDefender exceptions list.

I had the same problem and found another solution for those who use BitDefender: Go to "Protection", "Advanced threat defence", "Settings", "Add applications to exceptions" and introduce "ccleaner.exe" from the path where the application is installed .
