  1. If the apps don't remain hibernated until you use them again, and also for less than say 4 hours, and you have to go into settings to force stop them, then it would seem to me that that part of ccleaner is a gimmick.
  2. I spoke too soon. My phone is either continuing to turn itself off, or is possibly just turning off the screen which is rendering it useless, or some combination of the two. It cut out on me while I was using it's navigation over the past weekend and just cut off at a 44% battery level now. I can sometimes restart it sometimes not but I am getting tired of disconnecting the battery. This was a wonderful phone prior to installing ccleaner. If only ccleaner would fix it for me.
  3. Thank you for your response. I think ccleaner ought to make these changes internally. There wasn't any cautionary dialog during the cleaning. Anyway, I went to youtube and did a search for manually removing the battery from an S8. I did so and was able to reboot it this way. It works fine now. Again, thanks for getting back to me.
  4. Hello all. I just purchased ccleaner for my Samsung Galaxy 8. I was through granting permissions and the last screen I saw was a ccleaner screen for hibernating apps. I clicked proceed waited and then my screen went black. I tried to restart it by pressing the power button for 5-7 seconds but it did nothing. If I plug the charger in I get a beep sound but that's about it. Sometimes when I unplug it I get a beep sound. I am getting notification sounds. My screen is black. Please help!
