  1. So on review looks like the following are fixed: Tools > Uninstall Tools > Startup Tools > Browser Plug Ins Tools > Disk Analyzer Tools > Duplicate Finder ... but this one is still exhibiting the same behaviour under the Options menu: Options > Cookies to Keep Will update on this ...
  2. Releases are generally 3-5 week apart from each other. 5.90 was released Wednesday February 16th https://www.ccleaner.com/knowledge/ccleaner-v5-90-9443 Being a feature release (additional cleaning, language detection, Driver Updater enhancement) the bugfixes did not make the headlines, but can confirm that the CRLF issue is now fixed: However, any "all on the one line with no line breaks" exports made with 5.89 will not be parseable to import back into 5.90.
  3. Fresh install of 5.90 - form information and passwords still defaults to unchecked: Cleaning run: ... and checking in Firefox, all Logins and Passwords still intact as expected: Until we can get a confirmed case, moving this out of the Bug Reporting for the time being.
  4. You can talk to someone - CCleaner has a customer support team. Their contact address (support@ccleaner.com) was in the order confirmation email that you received from your PayPal purchase. But you should have all the information that you need from the three emails that you received from Cleverbridge regarding your purchase attempts. The first two order attempts that you made were "Payment Declined by Card Issuer". As per the emails that you received at the time from cs@cleverbridge.com: ie: you would need to talk to your bank about why they declined the transactions. With regards to the PayPal purchase, you placed the order but it is still sitting as "Awaiting Offline Payment" since you do not appear to have paid yet. As per the order confirmation email that you would have received from no-reply@cleverbridge.com: ie: open that email and click on the green button to complete the order.
  5. Note that subscribing to CCleaner for Android via Google Play means that your entitlement for the Premium features are attached to, and controlled by your Google Play account. Please make sure that you are signed into your Google account on the device that you are trying to use: Common solution here: How can I activate a previously purchased CCleaner Android Pro subscription on an alternative device? – Piriform Support
  6. @kinzoo: Can you provide a bit more information? How are you going about trying to install CCleaner? Are you downloading the latest version from the CCleaner website, or trying to install an old version from your computer? What is the error message that you are seeing and/or what is happening when you are trying to open and/or install CCleaner?
  7. @Mike7036: solution and links here: If you have uninstalled and reinstalled CCleaner then you may have cleared the licence key from your PC, in which case you may need to go to Options > About to re-enter your licence information if you find yourself on a trial or free version. Licence key entry tips here if needed: https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us/articles/204043844-How-to-register-and-activate-CCleaner-Professional.
  8. When you have your licence information from https://www.ccleaner.com/support/license-lookup, be sure to check How to register and activate CCleaner Professional – Piriform Support - ie: did you enter the number "1" instead of an "I" in the licence key, etc,
  9. @issyFrom your description of events, it sounds like you had the misfortune to call a tech support scam phone number. There are quite a few of those out there impersonating all major software brands. As you might expect, they are not usually big on refunds, and you may need to contact your bank or credit card company for a chargeback if you gave them your credit card number over the phone. CCleaner's actual technical support would have responded to your email quite promptly with the information on how to download the patched version of CCleaner (from https://www.ccleaner.com/go/get_ccpro) - which would have solved your problem. Note that if you still have the software that the scammers installed on your computer, you may be able to use CCleaner to remove it (from CCleaner's Tools > Uninstall menu).
  10. Your problem there might be that you have an extra "C" there in the email address?
  11. @TaKeN: I just tried this myself (running on the same versions). Running Custom Clean (for the detailed reporting) it found the cookies.... Deleted the cookies ... ... rescan and no more Edge cookies: Just checking did you already have Edge closed before cleaning? If not, did it prompt you to close Edge and you did so? When you ran the scan did it find cache files, etc and just no cookies?
  12. ... although we are looking to expand this list. So any suggestions are quite welcome.
  13. You would not be getting a notification that your licence has expired if you have a licence with 6 months left to run. If that is indeed the message that you are seeing, then that would seem to suggest that something else is going on here. If you go to Options > About > License Information you will be able to see the licence key and expiry date of the licence key being used on each machine. I would speculate that the two machines that are reporting themselves as using an expired licence are indeed using an older licence of yours, and that the third machine has your up-to-date licence information on it. For example, if your licence expired back in December then it might look something like this: If you have lost track of what licences you own and which one(s) are still current, you can check this at CCleaner.com - License Lookup
  14. Indeed, as per this: ... there is already a ticket in with the development team who are working on this currently have completed work on this and it is one of the items scheduled for February's 5.90 release. Note that the upcoming fix resolves the "save to text file" output formatting in a number of places: Tools > Uninstall; Tools > Startup; Tools > Disk Analyzer; and Tools > Duplicate Finder
  15. @issy@cBlanton@Vermieterheini1: please refer to the post marked at the top of the thread for the download link to CCleaner 5.89.9401.
  16. 4.4 Mb attachment test. Took about a minute.
  17. This may be an optical illusion. We get occasional queries from customers about apparent double-billing with PayPal when there is only one transaction showing at our end, only one transaction turning up on their PayPal statement, but an apparently duplicated line appearing in in the online transaction history for the customer's credit card that they have linked to their PayPal account. This happens when: PayPal puts funds hold on the customer's credit card until they process the transaction to ensure that it will go through PayPal then generates a charge to a customers credit card, but the hold is not immediately released Depending on how the customer's online transaction history is presented by their bank, this hold may appear as a "pending transaction" rather than a completed one. In most circumstances the "phantom" hold amount disappears shortly thereafter, and usually within 24-48 hours at the outside. This can happen with a range of merchants, billing systems and banks processing credit card transactions, particularly if somewhere along the line there is not a real-time connection between the various systems - no-one wants to tell a customer that they have to wait 48 hours for their funds to clear before providing them with the product or service that they purchased; and conversely if the customer is on a bit of a spending spree, no-one wants to be the one left out of pocket if the customer went over their credit limit on a later transaction and payment is refused. If there has been an actual real double-charge of some sort (eg: you accidentally placed multiple orders) that would show up as multiple receipts from Cleverbridge with separate order numbers. Customer support (support@ccleaner.com) can either cancel and refund any extraneous orders, or merge the licence periods of your multiple licences for you.
  18. @Aldo Neri: Prior to you making this order yesterday, you already had a licence for CCleaner Premium (the licence key ending in 2G3F) that is valid until November 2022. If you have not already done so, please contact customer support at support@ccleaner.com to cancel and refund you for yesterday's duplicate order. Looks like someone has already beaten me to it and issued you with a refund :-)
  19. Thanks to everyone who provided debug logs, AV version information and other valuable diagnostic information I am pleased to announce that the patch build CCleaner for Windows 5.89.9401 is now released. More information here: https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/version-history https://www.ccleaner.com/knowledge/ccleaner-v5-89-9401 Customers with Automatic Updates enabled will be updated from 5.89.3985 to 5.89.9401 the next time their copy of CCleaner checks for updates, or this can also be manually done via the "Check for updates" link in the bottom right-hand corner of your CCleaner console: If you are one of the CCleaner customers impacted by the crashing, your copy might not update automatically in a timely fashion, although it should do so over the next 24-72 hours if you had Automatic Updates enabled. But you can download and install the latest build directly from one of the following locations: CCleaner Professional users: https://www.ccleaner.com/go/get_ccpro (starts a download) CCleaner Free users: https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download/standard (starts a download) If you are a CCleaner Professional customer and have uninstalled and reinstalled CCleaner at any point during the process, rather than installing the patched version on top of the old one, then you may have cleared the licence key from your PC. In this case, after installation you may need to go to Options > About in the CCleaner console to re-enter your licence information if you unexpectedly find yourself on a trial or free version. Licence key entry tips here if needed: https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us/articles/204043844-How-to-register-and-activate-CCleaner-Professional
  20. Problem replicated, fix developed and QAed, just going through release management as we speak. Stand by for updates.
  21. @John Kirkland, @osubuckeye9, @shirl2022, @Orcadian, @Ton Nevig, @harwich, @Tim Hiebert, @Leo Cailleteau, @LEWIS81631, @skimonster, @Sutter W, @JD Angel, @David Lowell, @mm34b, @Aldo Neri, @Keith O, @hurricane_holley, @JohnGOLFCAR: if you would like to assist, please send the information outlined in this post higher up the thread to support@ccleaner.com. With the majority of users unaffected, knowing what impacted users have in common is extremely helpful when we are trying to isolate what on your systems might be conflicting with CCleaner 5.89: We are already seeing that this is not specific to a particular version of Windows, but particularly interested in AV versions to see if there is anything going on there.
  22. We will certainly be posting an update when we have more information to share. We have had a few million users successfully update so far (as many as we'd usually expect a few hours after a new release) and it looks like whatever is going on is not impacting 99%+of users. So we're still trying to ascertain from the information that we are receiving what the users who are impacted have in common so that we isolate and replicate the issue and come up with an appropriate remedy. Particularly interested to get a few more debug logs and/or crash dumps from people using the the free version of CCleaner sent to support@ccleaner.com. When contacting support, to save a couple of rounds of to-ing and fro-ing please provide as much of the information requested in my previous post as possible in your initial contact. @Mandrill Interloper: If you were having an issue over the weekend then it's probably not related to the CCleaner 5.89 update today. Were you having issues with CCleaner quitting on you prior to your reinstallation? Problems with manually downloading CCleaner Pro sounds like something quite different - try here:https://www.ccleaner.com/go/get_ccpro ?
  23. @Al Jensen: this is currently under active investigation to try and determine why some of our customers are experiencing this. Please see the main topic thread here:
  24. Further to Laurence's note above, we are seeing the vast majority of updates to 5.89 going off without a hitch, but also a few more cases like you describe than we would want to see and we've got a squad actively investigating this now. To help us determine why some users are impacted and some are not, please shoot a note to support@ccleaner.com with something like "5.89 crash" or similar in the subject line so that we can pull it out of the queue for prompt attention. In your email, please let us know: If this is a free or paid version of CCleaner (we'll be prioritising this either way, but may help us isolate the issue) If you had this problem after an automatic update, manual update or fresh installation. And if you updated, what version you were on previously. Windows version and any AV/firewall software that may be running ... and ideally a debug log file, which can be obtained as follows: Open the "Run" dialog in Windows (On the keyboard, hold/release the Windows () and "R" keys simultaneously) Type: CCleaner.exe /debug > click OK When CCleaner opens, use the program to replicate the problem you are reporting Close out of CCleaner Afterwards, a log file will be generated in the C:\Program Files\CCleaner folder and it will be named in the format of "CCleaner_[version]_[date]_[time].log". Please send this file to us.If you could also send us any crash dumps for CCleaner these can be found by searching for the below location in the Window search bar:%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\CrashDumps
