To remove more recent versions of Ccleaner from startup: Monitoring was renamed "smart cleaning." If that's on, Ccleaner will put itself into startup. If you go to Options, Smart Cleaning, and uncheck the Enable line, CC will remove itself from startup (as long as you have already unchecked "run at startup" from Options, Settings).
