  1. THANKS! That explains a lot. Although Vivaldi uses the Chromium engine, I'm still leery of Google. It would not surprise me that wrote some backdoor process that gathers Vivaldi information and stores it.
  2. I have started using Vivaldi, because I do not like Google. When I use only Vivaldi and then run CCleaner (paid edition) CCleaner reports that it has cleaned Google Chrome. This concerns me that Vivaldi might be Chrome in disguise, or, does CCleaner use "Google Chrome" as a default for browsers that are not IE, Edge, FireFox, and Chrome? Please advise/ Thanks!
