Man, I hate clearing this manually, such a pain. Would be zero problem if I didn't need to exclude 3 sites. Might just have to deal with it & get rid of ccleaner if they can't fix this.
Any update? It's been over a month with no ability to clean Chrome using this program. That's kind of an extremely important function. Doesn't exactly instill confidence in buying the upgraded version.
I've got ccleaner 64 bit version installed. However, ccleaner.exe (32 bit version) is used when I right-click recycle bin and select "run ccleaner". I switched the path in regedit to ccleaner64.exe & it works perfectly fine.
I believe this is a bug as the run ccleaner context menu option should point to the 64 bit version of the program.
Not without any problems. I still have to go into regedit & change the run ccleaner path to point to the 64 bit version. I think someone overlooked that.
I was just curious as to why both of these are installed when I download the 64 bit version?
Interesting, ccleaner.exe (32 bit version) is used when I right-click recycle bin and select run ccleaner. I switched that in regedit to ccleaner64.exe and deleted ccleaner.exe (32 bit version) & it works perfectly fine.
I'm just wondering why ccleaner 32 bit version is handling that? Shouldn't it be the 64 bit version?
Ah, ok. so this is what the problem is. Yeah, I've been commenting on eruption77's thread. I hope ccleaner staff read the forums or else we're sol. It's so annoying to manually remove this & making sure not to delete a couple cookies that I always need.
