Optical drive information is generic.

Media Type - should show the type of media that it writes to. CD Disk, DVD Disk, BlueRay Disk, and M-disc.
This is not you standard DVD writer.
This drive uses M-Disc. If you don't know what M-Disc is. then find out and upgrade.
