  1. Thanks for the screenshots @trium, I was just going to ask about this. So now it's been confirmed that CC doesn't have that special interface anymore. It only acquires whatever the default Windows interface is. Thanks for trying to help guys. The devs should at least update the screenshots on their official page (which are still of v5.0) to avoid people from being misled into thinking that something is wrong with their system or OS.
  2. Yes. It should've been obvious from the beginning, but I regret not mentioning it specifically. Of course, many programs use default Win7 Aero Glass theme when they don't have one of their own. For example, I use Internet Download Manager that doesn't have it's own unique theme, so it uses Win7 default Aero Glass. However, I also use a program called Foxit Reader which has it's own Tile theme, like CC does, and it shows fine without any problems. Yes, it's only CC that fails to show it's default theme on my system for some reason. I've now tried different themes in Win7, but CC continues to pick whatever theme is default for Windows, completely disregarding it's own Tile theme.
  3. ^ Of course it's an Aero Glass issue. What I want is to remove it and get the original Tile interface of CC back. "It's hard to offer advice when there is no common thread to start from." "From a trouble-shooting point of view, you need to eliminate all the variables." What common thread? You now know everything there is to know. I'm not a total noob when it comes to troubleshooting stuff. But I can't seem to do anything here. I have always used the portable free version of CC. To my knowledge, this version only has an EXE, and no files to edit or alter. I tried installing and uninstalling CC as well, several times, and each time I cleaned all possible program and registry traces. But that didn't work as well. "You have 3 screenshots, from 3 different PC's, running 3 different versions of CC." How am I supposed to show you a pic of the Tile interface on my own system when that very thing is the problem that I'm here for in the first place? I already showed you in the OP how it looks like on my system now. However, I had to take the pic of the original Tile interface of CC from the internet and then post it here just for comparison's sake. That's it. Nothing cryptic. When I tell you that it was working fine (the Tile interface) on my system with Win7 before, you have to believe me. The proof is already shown above that the Tile interface can indeed display on Win7 without any problems.
  4. I never used any of that. It's weird and annoying that Win7 is superimposing its Aero Glass border theme over the original theme of CC.
  5. I'm aware of that. Will that do? It says Win7, which is proof of what I've said in OP. BTW, Windows version and the CC version has nothing to do with it. I've been having this issue for over a year now.
  6. Hi, Yes, I'm talking about the border style. That black bar, I added myself. Previously it was showing fine like this:
  7. Previously it was all fine, but for some weird reason, the window border of CC is showing now like this: I'm on Win7 x64. I always use the portable version but I've also tried the installed version. Same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
