I've been a loyal customer of Avast for a long time but they are pulling the strings these days.  Installing unwanted tools and browser extensions without permission.

Defer Upgrades is a feature introduced by Microsoft in Win 10 to prevent your pc/laptop from receiving feature updates immediately.  So when you enable this option, new windows 10 features won't be updated immediately after release but you'll continue to get security updates.  You can just wait and get more stable release giving enough time for testing.

If you are in the middle of some serious projects it is highly recommended to defer upgrades for your system so that nothing would break after update.
