  1. I currently have Speccy installed on 2 machines both running Windows 7 Ultimate. They are essentially mirror images of each other software wise. I installed v1.28.709 on both machines from the same download. On one of my machines Speccy has a component of Windows engaging in nonstop I/O Reading (seen in task manager Processes (WmiPrvSE.exe) This causes constant utilization of 10-12% of the CPU cycles on my 3770K CPU and 10 degrees Celcius added to the CPU temperature. Not to mention that overnight WmiPrvSE.exe read 550GB of information from ?? Somewhere ?? I have no idea what it's reading or from where. I found that if I disconnect from the internet this reading behavior does not occur if I reboot. If on boot the system is connected to the internet this reading behavior is present and it does not stop even if I then disconnect from the internet I have to actually reboot while not connected for the reading behavior to NOT be present. This behavior is not present on my other machine and like I said it is a mirror image to the 3770K Machine including the OS. I uninstalled v1.28 and installed v1.29 on the misbehaving machine but the reading behavior is still present. I am absolutely certain it is Speccy because I started and stopped Speccy a bunch of times just to make sure. Can anyone tell me what the heck Speccy is reading? What is causing this behavior on one machine but not on the other. It's very weird. Thanks.
