I check on the progress after 30 minutes of "wipe free space", and the option window is saying "are you sure you want to stop the program" or something like that. If I wait 2 hours it will have turned itself off. Help me please. Thanks.

I run "wipe free space", but when I come back to check on it in about 30 minutes it is giving me the message that says something like "do you really want to discontinue wipe free space"? If I wait for about 2 hours to check on it, it will have turned itself off. How can I fix this? Thanks.

Is there a way to speed up the process when I am wiping the free space on my computer? I have about 393 gigs of free space that must be wiped. It can take 18-24 hours to finish. Any hints or advice? Thanks.
