  1. What does it take for a moderator (or related such person) here to confirm whether or not Piriform is aware of this problem and whether or not a fix is coming soon in an update? This does appear to be a bug with people running updated versions of Google Chrome (Windows 7 or 10). CCleaner no longer cleans. So what does it take to get the attention of a moderator and confirmation of whether/when a fix is coming? I pay for CCleaner Professional. However, I am not going to continue to do so if CCleaner continues to fail to clean. At some point (if we hear nothing and substantial time passes and we hear nothing) do we hit social media with things like "CCleaner no longer cleans"?

I agree. It is also sad that CCleaner Pro gets updated with CCleaner FREE. I feel like there is no difference between the two programs. CCleaner Pro in my opinion should receive updates much faster then both versions being released at the same time. People spend a lot of money and the lack of development for such a product is a shame especially for those whom support it we are always left with the users whom don't pay #notfair.

However back on topic I have wrote to support and they were trying to tell me the issue above has to do with NVidia. I don't even have a NVidia graphics card. I don't even know what piriform is doing behind the scenes to be honest, or how graphics are such at fault for not cleaning chrome. I just wish they would separate the two products. CCleaner FREE should receive updates when they so desire while Pro users should have an advantage. Not a lot of people are willing speak out and I know I've told piriform this behind closed doors but I'm only one voice.

I still respect the product, moderators, etc! I just wish piriform had a structure that worked for everyone for what they offer.

At this point without knowledge of changing this or that I guess users will have to wait for an update.

  2. Hello,

I'm not sure if this is a bug however this has never happened before.

I sign in to the Gmail website.

I log out of the Gmail website.

I close out of browser as my CCleaner is set to clear everything on Google Chrome upon exit. It clears everything else except all logins to Gmail? Is this due to their new website change? Is there a way so that when I close out of my browser it will clear all Gmail logins like before?

Running the latest version of CCleaner Pro and the latest version of Google Chrome.

Does anyone else have this issue?

    Thanks.

  3. @mmjr2000 I'm not sure why you hold my pointing out the reason this has, in the past, occurred (so much so that we made it a sticky thread) as somehow being insulting, but that was not the intent.

I am not at your multiple PCs, thus how am I to know what features, of a application causing trouble, that a user uses. I pointed to steps that have worked, previous to this current bug. I in no way stated that anyone who wrote that they had checked those reasons off the troubleshooting list was in any way disingenuous, and, in fact, have assured thread participants that the developers read the threads and the only unsupported case was those using beta software.

Perhaps dial back the accusations, next time

    Hello,

I wasn't trying to be rude, disrespectful or making any accusations. If you read it that way I'm sorry. In fact I am glad you posted what you posted above about being signed in, etc! I only referenced that way just in case people did have problems with the method you mentioned above along with those that don't use the services like signing in, etc!

I apologize. I really didn't mean what I was saying in a bad way at all.

  4. Hello,

I believe this issue is widespread.

I have tested both CCleaner FREE and Pro on clean machines and virtual machines. And I have the same issue even on a fresh installation of Windows.

I also don't use Google services such as: Gmail, YouTube, etc! - Which some moderators are claiming that if we are signed in which is the reasoning for our history being restored, etc! However it may be true if we all were signed into Google. However I only use Google for the browser and nothing else. So that theory about users being signed in can be thrown out the window at least in this case. Scratch the last sentence wasn't intentional and I apologize.

  5. Hello,

I just use Google Chrome - I don't use any of their services so I don't sign in to services like: Gmail, YouTube, etc! However I have the same issue as above. This started happening with the latest release of CCleaner FREE and Pro and Google Chrome.

Hopefully there will be a fix to this issue soon.

    Thanks.
