  1. Thanks for replying, maybe i just leave my USB that way. I still have some USB that needs to be erase. Does it recommend to do Format>Wipe Free Space>Entire Drive Wipe? Sorry for always questioning. I've been a long user of ccleaner and I just started using ccleaner-drive wipe and Recuva last week. So i need to experiment on things to be secured
  2. Another follow up, why does recuva still recover some files on my USB when i did a full format and complex wipe (7 pass)?
  3. Does ccleaner also wipes deleted files on my internal memory? Encrypting would be good but still i want it to be more secured before selling my phone
  4. Hello, I just recovered some videos on my USB that contains a lot of deleted movies and i just want to ask why some of my video files is corrupted? It doesn't play and others are just choppy or ends early. Does it have to do with formatting ntfs/fat32? Inserting to diff pc's? Too much video deleted on my USB? Thanks
  5. But why other files are unrecovered or overwritten?
  6. What i did step by step 1. My USB used entire data wipe using 1 simple Overwrite. 2. After wipe i used recuva which results 100% unrecovered 3. I copy the MOVIE0001.avi (1.6 MB) on my desktop and paste it on my USB 4. Unplug and plug my USB and cut the MOVIE0001.avi and paste it on my desktop 5. USB is empty again then i used recuva and resulting that the MOVIE0001.avi still exist on my USB. I was just surprise that the cut file can still be recovered. Now i'm really paranoid for losing my USB
  7. Thanks for the reply guys! I plan to buy a new laptop and give the old one to my brother and i just want make sure that all files have been completely wipeout. I have some sensitive/embarrassing photos/videos during my College which i don't want to be recovered. mta - My bro opens and saves his project on external drive so i don't worry that much.
  8. Hi there, I just want to ask if i can use simple overwrite (1 pass) for 7 days? What i mean is doing 1pass once a day so that makes 7 pass total. I'm just thinking for an alternative way to do this process since I can't do 3 or 7pass straight because it takes long hours and my brother always use my laptop for his projects. Please i need your advice guys
