Uninstalling and reinstalling seems to have fixed it. I'd tried reinstalling without first uninstalling without any effect. Thanks.

I am having the same problem - but with Windows 7 64 bit SP1 Intel Core i5 CCleaner 5.13.5460 (64 bit) CC runs, then shuts down the computer.
